What a day it was for Madira Girls at the KSSA Vihiga Sub-County Games! π₯β½
The girls stepped onto the pitch knowing the mission and delivered in style, brushing aside Womulalu with a commanding 7-0 victory to complete a perfect group stage campaign.
Three matches.
Three victories.
Twenty-four goals scored.
Zero conceded.
The girls have been playing football of the highest quality, showing hunger, discipline, teamwork, and the true Madira spirit in every match.
Then came the semi-final.
Well... at least it was supposed to.
Unfortunately, our scheduled opponents, St. Clares Maragoli, failed to honour the fixture, meaning the match could not take place.
We had our boots laced.
The girls were warmed up.
The fans were ready.
The opponents? Not quite.
Maybe the scorelines had already done the talking:
β½ 11-0 vs Idavaga Muslim
β½ 6-0 vs Mbihi
β½ 7-0 vs Womulalu
We wont speculate... but perhaps someone had seen enough.
All jokes aside, we respect every school that has competed in this tournament and we remain focused on the task ahead.
The journey is not over.
One more step.
One more challenge.
One more opportunity to make the Madira family proud.
To our players, teachers, supporters, and everyone cheering us on, thank you for believing in this team. The girls continue to represent the badge, the school, and the community with pride.
On to the next one. βοΈ

We are intentional.
Todays session was built around a simple question:
What do you do when pressure arrives?
For many young players, the first reaction is to panic.
They rush the pass.
They stare at the ball.
They forget what is around them.
But football is not about avoiding pressure.
Football is about understanding it.
The boys learned how to scan before receiving, identify where the pressure was coming from, and move the ball away from danger.
Sometimes that meant dribbling into space.
Sometimes that meant protecting the ball.
Sometimes that meant finding the next pass.
The lesson was simple:
π See the pressure.
β½ Escape the pressure.
π― Pass within the structure.
Because football is a team game.
The ball moves faster than any player.
And the best teams are not the ones that never face pressure.
They are the teams that stay connected when pressure arrives.
What may look like a simple pass is often the result of awareness, positioning, communication, and understanding the structure around you.
The boys are beginning to understand that football is not random movement.
It is organized chaos.
Everyone has a role.
Everyone creates an angle.
Everyone helps the player on the ball.
This is bigger than football.
Life will also bring pressure.
The goal is not to panic.
The goal is to observe, think, adapt, and make the next good decision.
That is growth.
That is development.
That is why we train the way we do.
