Who is Godricks Kituyi Wanyonyi?
Godricks Kituyi Wanyonyi is a dedicated sports development practitioner, community football organizer, and youth empowerment advocate with strong experience in grassroots sports management, talent identification, and sports communication. His work focuses on using football as a pathway for education, discipline, and social transformation across Trans Nzoia County.
As the Patron of the Kwanza Heroes League, he provides leadership in league growth, youth mentorship, tournament coordination, and community engagement. Godricks has volunteered extensively in organizing and managing community football leagues, supporting logistics, match operations, technical planning, and overall event execution. He has also played a key role in identifying bright but needy student-athletes and securing their placement in institutions where they can pursue both education and talent development.
He is the Player Brand Ambassador at St. Joseph’s Boys Kitale and the founder of School Sports Broadcasting & Livestreaming, an initiative that expands visibility for school competitions through digital coverage.
In 2024, he contributed to the Inter-Counties Youth Sports program, taking part in the formation and management of the Trans Nzoia youth team. He previously served as the Secretary General of Kwanza Sub-County and also volunteered as the Communication Director for the Football Kenya Federation during the 2024/2025 season, providing strategic communication support and enhancing stakeholder engagement.
With active involvement in various technical benches, Godricks continues to champion structured sports development, professionalism, and opportunities for young athletes at the grassroots level.
