As part of our deliberate rollout strategy, AfriSportPro selected six states to pioneer the Youth League, launching August 2025 — chosen for their strong academy presence, football culture, and readiness to embrace innovation in player development.
Today, we spotlight Plateau State, one of our carefully selected pilot states.
With a vibrant ecosystem of youth academies, depth of talent, and committed football stakeholders, Plateau State reflects the values we’re building the league on: development, transparency, and opportunity.
This makes Plateau State a perfect launchpad for our mission to build the biggest youth league system in the world - 6 pilot states, 72 academies, and over 1,500 U19 talents.
