Why I’m Not Rushing What Comes Next ⚡
Most football projects don’t fail because people don’t care—they fail because they move too fast. Sessions. Numbers. Photos. The pressure to show progress can be overwhelming.
Right now, Play Football Asia is in a different phase, and that’s intentional. We’re slowing down. Listening. Learning. Understanding the communities we support. Building trust.
This work doesn’t always look busy from the outside, but it’s what gives programmes the chance to last—and to actually mean something to the people they’re built with.
This is where it starts, and taking the time to do it properly matters—for the people involved, the partners, and the integrity of the work itself.
Thanks to everyone who’s taken the time to follow along so far. The support and conversations genuinely mean a lot.
