We are intentional.
Todays session focused on shooting technique.
Not just scoring.
Not just hitting the ball hard.
But understanding where power really comes from.
Many young players believe power comes from the leg alone.
The boys discovered something different.
Power starts before the shot.
It starts with movement.
It starts with momentum.
The approach to the ball matters.
The running rhythm matters.
The body position matters.
The plant foot matters.
Today, the boys learned how to use their running momentum to generate power through the ball.
⚽ Approach with control.
⚽ Plant beside the ball.
⚽ Strike through the ball.
⚽ Follow through towards the target.
The goal was not to swing harder.
The goal was to transfer movement into the shot.
As confidence grew, so did the quality of the strikes.
The ball travelled further.
The shots became more accurate.
The technique became cleaner.
Most importantly, the boys began to understand that football is not about forcing power.
It is about creating it.
The same lesson applies in life.
The best results rarely come from one big effort.
They come from preparation.
They come from good habits.
They come from building momentum over time.
What may look like a powerful shot is often the result of many small details working together.
That is where the lesson lives.
At PEVU, we are not just teaching boys how to shoot.
We are teaching them how to understand movement, apply technique, and trust the process.
That is growth.
That is development.
