Three age groups. Three stages of growth. One Saturday.

U6 building fundamentals. U8-U12 testing them in a friendly match. U13-U16 proving them in competition.

Development is not one moment. It is a sequence. 🟣⚫

We are intentional.

Todays session focused on a simple football principle:

Pass and move.

Sounds simple.

But football becomes difficult when players pass and admire their pass.

The game keeps moving.

So should the player.

The boys started by learning how to move like a defender. Reading movement. Adjusting body position. Understanding where pressure comes from.

Then came the skill move.

Not for show.

Not for highlights.

But to create space.

A quick movement.
A turn.
A pass.

Then move again.

Because the pass is rarely the end of the action.

It is often the beginning of the next one.

As the session progressed, we worked on small touches and ball control.

Touch.

Touch.

Touch.

Pass wide.

Attack the box.

Receive the return pass.

Finish.

The sequence repeated itself again and again.

Not because repetition is exciting.

But because repetition builds confidence.

Confidence becomes habit.

Habit becomes performance.

To finish the session, the coach served between three and five balls into different areas for the players to attack and finish.

No time to think too much.

No time to hesitate.

Just awareness, movement, and execution.

The boys quickly discovered that scoring is not only about striking the ball.

It is about arriving at the right place at the right time.

Football rewards movement.

Football rewards players who stay connected to the game.

This is bigger than football.

Life also rewards those who keep moving after making a decision.

Pass and move.

Act and adapt.

Learn and grow.

That is development.

That is growth.

That is the PEVU way.

⚽🙏
