‎ *Gombe SS Crowned Overall Champions at UMEA 2026 Games In Mbale*

‎Gombe SS emerged as the overall champions of the 2026 UMEA Solidarity Games in Mbale City, with five gold medals across different disciplines.

‎Kibuli SS finished as runners-up with four gold medals.

‎Kyaddondo SS won the boys’ football title after a narrow 1-0 victory over Masaka SS in the final played at Mbale City Stadium, and Kawempe Muslim continued their dominance in girls’ football with a 7th title after beating hosts Nkoma SS 2-0 in the final played at Mbale Stadium, it was a repeat of last years final.

‎Kawanda SS reclaimed the netball crown, while Kinaawa High School and Mbogo Mixed are champions in girls’ and boys’ volleyball respectively.

‎Hosted by Nkoma SS in Mbale City , the games brought together 47 Muslim affiliated schools.
