Oyugis Beavers' Soccer

@Oyugisbeavers

Oyugis Beavers’ Soccer Academy participated in a three-day football tournament held in Olare, bringing together talented young players from various regions. The main objective of our participation was to expose our players to competitive football, strengthen teamwork, gain experience, and showcase the growth of our academy.

Day 1 – Arrival and Opening Matches

We arrived in Olare with great excitement and determination. The opening day involved settling in, warm-ups, and our first matches. The boys displayed strong teamwork, confidence, and discipline. Despite facing tough opponents, the team fought bravely and held firm defensively. Even in challenging moments, the players showed resilience and determination to represent Oyugis Beavers proudly.

Day 2 – Group Stage Battles

The second day was more intense as we pushed through our group stage fixtures. The players improved their coordination and created several scoring opportunities. Our midfield and defense stood out with impressive effort and communication. Although we drew all our group matches, the boys continued to show heart, learning valuable lessons about game awareness, positioning, and maintaining composure under pressure.

Day 3 – Final Matches and Closing Ceremony

On the final day, the team gave their best performance of the tournament. Despite not advancing to the finals, the boys played with courage, unity, and an unbreakable spirit. Their discipline, respect for opponents, and love for the game were praised by coaches, organizers, and other teams. The closing ceremony reminded us that football is not only about winning but also about growth, friendships, and priceless experiences.

Overall Performance

Although we did not win the tournament, our participation was a great success. The players gained exposure, improved technically and mentally, and learned important lessons that will help them in future competitions. Their teamwork, discipline, and passion were outstanding throughout the three days.

Thank you Olare, it was nice with lots of learning.
