🏃🏾♂️ THE PEVU RUN 🏃🏾♂️
We are intentional.
Today marked the beginning of something bigger than football.
No cones.
No bibs.
No matches.
Just coaches running.
Step after step.
Kilometre after kilometre.
Not because we are preparing for competition.
But because we recognize that mental health matters.
As coaches, we spend our days serving others. We teach, mentor, encourage, guide, and support young people through football and life.
To do that consistently, we must also create time to take care of ourselves.
That is why we are launching THE PEVU RUN.
A weekly mental health run for PEVU coaches that will take place every Friday.
A space to move.
A space to reflect.
A space to connect.
A space to reset.
Because sometimes the best conversations happen while running.
Sometimes the best solutions come when the body is moving.
Sometimes the mind simply needs fresh air, open roads, and a change of pace.
This is bigger than fitness.
It is about well-being.
It is about creating healthy habits.
It is about ensuring that those who lead, teach, and mentor are also investing in their own growth and health.
Healthy coaches create healthy environments.
And healthy environments help young people thrive.
So every Friday, we run.
For our minds.
For our health.
For each other.
Because leadership starts with self-discipline.
And self-discipline starts with the habits nobody sees.
Welcome to THE PEVU RUN.
One step at a time.
One kilometre at a time.
One conversation at a time.
