Karnali Kids Cup 2081 will be held in Humla

Simkot, 4 Chait. For the first time in Nepal, Karnali Kids Cup 2081 is going to be organized as a football tournament for children under 12 years of age. Navaraj Mahtara, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Radio Srinagar, the organizing organization, informed that the Cup will be held in Adanchuli Rural Municipality of Humla on the occasion of Democracy Day 2081 from 7th to 11th of May.

According to Mahatara, the competition is about to start under the joint initiative of Radio Srinagar, Mount Everest School and Humla Football Academy with the slogan of ending all kinds of violence especially against children. We have started organizing the Karnali Kids Cup 2081 for the first time from Humla, in order to spread the message and to establish the belief that quality education and sports can be provided in the villages after the process of transporting children from the Himalayan districts of Karnali to various cities has not stopped. In the program, Mahatara said, This will help children to raise their interest in sports and raise their voices against violence against them.

Addressing the announcement of the competition, the executive director of Himali Navin Samaj, Dhan Bahadur Lama, said that the Karnali Kids Cup will prove to be a treasure in the field of childrens development and sports. When children from Humla and Karnali are being sent out of the district under various pretexts. He mentioned that the Karnali Kids Cup is more important because the Karnali Kids Cup is doing the work of organizing a national level game in the village and making a public appeal to achieve the goal of ending all kinds of violence against children.

Similarly, according to Bishnu Rawat, president of the organizing organization Humla Football Academy, football games focused on the youth in the city and district headquarters will also be established in the rural areas through this tournament. Rawat said that the Karnali Kids Cup will be a model for the Nepali sports sector and there will be institutional participation of schools in the competition.

30 thousand cash to the first

Karnali Kids Cup, which is going to be organized with the slogan of Khel Villages recognition of immortality, has announced that the first prize will be awarded in cash of 30,000. Children under the age of 12 studying up to 5th grade will be awarded second prize of 20,000 and third prize of 10,000 in cash.

"Initially, the first prize was set at 50,000 rupees, but due to the fact that the competition was organized for the first time and the competition was held in a rural area, we have kept the first prize at 30,000 rupees," organizer Navraj Mahtara added. Educational materials will also be provided.

Organizer Kali Bahadur Thapa informed that organizations like Adanchuli Rural Municipality, Karnali Sports Development Council, Humla District Sports Development Committee, Himali Navin Samaj, Aadhaar Bikas Nepal will also participate in the Karnali Kids Cup, which is expected to be attended by at least 20 schools.
