Did you know that............ The first recorded female match took place in Scotland in 1888??? By 1920 womens matches in Great Britain were filling stadiums with funs. But in the same year womens football suffered a great blew when female trams were burned from playing on official pitches. It took another 50 years for this burn to be lifted giving rise once again to the popularity of the sport for women.................................................
