FUFA Signs Memorandum of Understanding with 11 Schools for ‘Schools of Excellence Programme’

FUFA today officially confirmed the 11 Schools of Excellence at the FUFA Complex in Mengo.
Representation from Kitara Region in the boys’ category is under evaluation.

Head teachers from the confirmed schools each signed a Memorandum of Understanding with FUFA, formalizing their commitment to the programme and its long-term objectives.

Each school also received 10 footballs to support training and development.

The ceremony was presided over by FUFA President Hon. Magogo Moses Hassim, 1st Vice President Justus Mugisha, Deputy CEO Shebah Ronah Ampaire, and Football Development Director Mutyaba Bashir.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by FUFA Legal Director Denis Lukambi.

FUFA is establishing Schools of Excellence to nurture elite football talent within Ugandas education system.

3-St Joseph’s College Layibi
4-St. Kagwa Bushenyi High School
5-St. Charles Lwanga Koboko
6-Standard High School -Ndejje Campus
7-Bukedea Comprehensive School

Girls schools
1- Bishop Comboni College Kambuga
2-Amus College School
3-Hopeful Future Secondary School
4-Wisdom High School -Akole
