ABOUT US:
Founded in 2022 by Kennedy Muriithi, the Machakos Elite East Africa Tournament is a product of Mumbuni Express Sports Academy. This initiative serves as a crucial platform for young footballers aged 4 to 19, bridging the gap between talent and opportunity across East Africa. We are dedicated to fostering youth development through competitive soccer.

TOURNAMENT OBJECTIVES
Our primary objectives are:
1.Providing a vibrant platform for teams to compete and enjoy the sport.
2.Fostering community engagement through sports.
3.Identifying and nurturing emerging football talent.
4. Collaborating with Government and private sector to Develop football for young players.
ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE TOURNAMENT
The tournament has seen remarkable growth since its inception. From a single-category event with 12 teams in 2022, we have expanded to a year-round league series and a major annual tournament. In 2024, we welcomed over 100 teams and 1,300 players, showcasing the tournaments significant impact In machakos town.
EVENTS AS PER YEAR:
2022: Inaugural tournament with Under-11 category, 12 teams, held at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos.
2024: Launch of Machakos Elite League Series , and major December tournament with multiple age categories .

2025 YEAR PLAN:
Preparations are underway for the December 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2025 tournament. We aim to host 200 teams in Machakos town.
The Machakos Elite League Series, with 10 teams across Kitui, Machakos, Nairobi, and Kajiado, is ongoing during school holidays and mid term.

We are a football club based in nakuru and we nurture talent from the age of 5 to 20 with a senior team playing in the Division 2 league. We have various categories differentiated by age and we train at the Nakuru athletics club. We have a sustainability program named beyond sports meaning we go an extra mile in impacting the community and the environment.
