We founded the Kwanza Heroes League in 2021 after the difficult 2020 Corona season, a period when football had almost disappeared. Our goal was to revive the sport and use it as a powerful tool for social change and community transformation. Since then, we’ve successfully held four editions — and we’re still pushing forward.
In 2025, we launched the Kwanza Heroes Academy to nurture budding talent, and we’re committed to giving it our very best as we move into 2026 and beyond.
