In 2025, Africa Goal Organization, through the Impact Goal Project, created meaningful change across Homa Bay County by empowering young people and strengthening community systems using sport, education, and health initiatives. The project built local capacity by training 1,340 teachers, 2,500 community coaches, and 20,000 youth leaders, while directly reaching 500,000 young people aged 10β24 with life skills in SRHR, menstrual health, SGBV prevention, mental health, leprosy inclusion, WASH, and environmental conservation. Environmental action was advanced through the planting of 100,000 trees and improved school sanitation via new toilets, water harvesting systems, and handwashing stations. Dignity and protection efforts included distributing over 230,000 sanitary pads. Sports for development was strengthened by donating equipment and renovating fields. The project also promoted health inclusion through leprosy group support and expanded education and economic empowerment through SACCO growth, school fee support, and college sponsorships, driving lasting social change.
