This ground did not start as a football pitch.
It started as bush. Thick, wild, ignored land.
Those who have followed PTE Football Academy Nigeria from day one understand this journey. We started shirtless, bootless, training on a small community school field around here. Just boys with a ball, hunger, and belief. With time we grew. Our structure grew. Our identity became clear. People began to see us and understand what we were building.
Then everything changed.
The circular road construction cut straight through our training ground. Overnight, we were back to nothing. No field. No base. At the same time, we had already announced the Trenches Super 8 tournament. The vision was clear, but the ground was gone.
In this developing environment, finding a new place to train felt impossible. But we kept moving. We made enquiries. We found a piece of land. We took a risk and rented it for a year. Standing there, we told ourselves it was not too deep. We believed we could clear it ourselves.
Boys from the area showed up. Everyone needed a place to play football. We started clearing together. It was harder than we imagined. The bush fought back. So we adapted. We hired a pay loader to break the ground, then we leveled it ourselves with sweat and persistence.
What you see now is the result.
PTE has a field again. For one year, this is home. And it is not just for us. Boys from the area now have a place to play, grow, and dream.
On this ground, history was made. PTE Football Academy Nigeria hosted the first ever football tournament around here. Trenches Super 8. It was a beautiful day. Pure football. Pure joy. Pure community.

This is more than a field.
