Introducing Our 7th Partner – CHAMA Champions

We are proud to introduce CHAMA Champions as our 7th partner for the Machakos Elite East Africa Tournament Second Edition, which took place from 5th to 7th December 2025 at Machakos High School. CHAMA Champions has been part of this journey from the very first edition and once again came through to support the second edition with a sponsorship of KSh 9,500. This support was used to purchase uniform kits for the U9 category champions and first runners-up, greatly motivating the young players.

The support was made possible through the passion and commitment of CHAMA Champions Director, Ann Wanyaga Mwaniki, whose deep love for children and grassroots talent development made it easy for her to approve the sponsorship in support of the tournament’s vision.

CHAMA Champions is a Kenyan platform founded by Ann Wanyaga Mwaniki, a nurse practitioner and community health advocate, alongside Dr. Lucy McKenzie as co-founder. The platform is dedicated to transforming informal savings groups into financially disciplined, well-governed investment entities through mentorship, digital financial tools, and investment diversification. Backed by an active community of over 11,000 members, CHAMA Champions empowers women and youth while promoting sustainable economic growth across Kenya.
