BAREFOOT VILLAGE β CD TENERIFE. π°πͺ β πͺπΈβ½
Valerie Nekesa just signed with CD Tenerife.
Take a second with that.
Found playing barefoot in a Kenyan village.
Scored the first World Cup goal for Kenya,
at ANY level.
Now boarding a plane to Spain.
This is the biggest moment in FTBLRLIFE history.
And it happened because of a community that refused
to let talent stay invisible.
Massive thank you to:
π Alex Alumirah, Managing Director of the Madira
Soccer Assassins. You built the place where Valerie
became Valerie.
π Marti Torres + the team at New Hera Interconnection.
You turned belief into a signed contract.
To Valerie, you didnt just change your own life.
You just showed every barefoot girl on a dirt field
that the door is open.
This is proof.
Football. Changes. Lives.
β½ This is only the beginning.

π¨π£οΈ @David_Ornstein on Youri Tielemans:
βThe moment Aston Villa hijacked Newcastleβs deal for Johan Manzambi, we knew that someone could leave Villa. We The Athletic did our research and found out that United were paying the release clause for Youri Tielemans.
Villa would have loved to renew his contract, but there was nothing they could really do about it.β
